14 pupils from Years 7-10 will research the County Archive in Swansea to find out the impact and effects on local people and feedback to the rest of the pupils. They will also research the records of the 72 Briton Ferry men awarded honours during the First World War and the 1911 Census to create a bigger picture. Research may also include working with the local war memorial committee as well as local residents.

The aim is to produce database, blog, resources for feeder primary for use in transition work and a school mural. This will help pupils to gain greater understanding of the impact of the war.
