1330 Briefing of cadet contingents, stewards and performers
1430 VIPs, Band, Choir and performers on standby at CARACAS restaurant.
1445 Invited guests Welsh and Flemish committees to take their seats.
1450 VIPs to take their seats escorted by cadets.
1455 Military top brass to take their seats followed by the military guard of honour who will take position at the base of the monument.
1500 FORMAL PART OF CEREMONY TO BEGIN

1524 Address by Erwin Ureel the chairman of the Flemish committee.
1527 Two Welsh schoolboys to relate an account of two Welsh soldiers who lost their lives in the war.
The boys, Joe Lewis from Neath, and Gqwydion Rhys from Bangor, will place photographs of the soldiers on the memorial and also ceremonially deposit soil at the base of the “Cromlech”. Soil from the summits of Snowdon and Pen y Fan respectively.
1540 Lowering of the Welsh flag as international harpist Dylan Cernyw plays.
The “Hedd Wyn ” poem ” Rhyfel” will be read by Isgoed Williams MBE.
1543 The Exhortation to be read by Ivan Beatty of the Welsh committee.
1546 BUGLE Solo – LAST POST
ONE MINUTE SILENCE
1548 ” The Kohima Epitaph ” read by Simopn Weston OBE
1550 Bugle solo ” Reveille”. Welsh Flag to be raised by cadets as Welsh Tenor Rhys Meirion sings.
1600 A representative of the Flemish Government to speak.
1605 Rt. Hon. Carwyn Jones AM First Minister of Wales will speak on behalf of the Welsh Government.
1610. THE UNVEILING
To be carried out jointly by RT Hon Carwyn Jones, the Mayor of Langemark, and a representative of the Flemish Government. Also in attendance will be Lee Oddishow the artist who designed the dragon.
Finally blessing of the memorial by the clergy. Folding of the Welsh flag by cadets.

Followed by the anthems, Flemish National anthem by the choir, Band to play the Belgian Anthem followed by “The Queen” followed by Choir, Band, and assembly ” Mae Hen —- ”

The Belgium commitee is busy making plans for the event of the 16th August 2014, at a certain time on this day the road will be closed to traffic.
