Deeds Not Words: To mark the centenary of the partial suffrage bill, WNO celebrates the life of Margaret Haig Thomas, Lady Rhondda, the Newport suffragette whose actions paved the way for women’s rights in the personal, professional and political worlds through music, humour and song. This new classic music hall style work features Lesley Garret and Madeleine Shaw in the title roles.
Rondda Rips it Up! is supported by the Nicholas John Trust, in memory of Joan Moody, Colwinston Charitable Trust and WNO Rhondda Union.
