June 2nd 2016 – to commemorate the Battle of the Somme, 3 Pembrokeshire choirs and orchestra will perform “WW1 – A Village at War” as part of the St. David’s Cathedral Music Festival. This village opera was performed in Pembrokeshire in November 2014 and has been converted to a concert performance by composer Sam Howley and librettist Peter George.

Earlier performances in Pembrokeshire were held at the local school Cleddau Reach, the Memorial Hall in Newport, and the Merlin Theatre in Haverfordwest

Tickets will be priced at £15 for front nave; £12 for rear nave and £8 unreserved in the side aisles. Children under 16 free

Tickets will be on sale to the general public from March 21st

Box Office in the Pebbles in St Davids opens Monday 23rd May
