2014 will mark 100 years since the start of World War One. Important medical advances can be born from the great tragedies of war; anesthesia is no exception.
During this year’s National Science and Engineering Week the Mushin Museum will be holding an engagement event that will highlight the links between the World Wars and the development of anesthesia. With expert guest speakers and access to modern simulation equipment, this event will hopefully promote reflection and discussion surrounding the World Wars and medicine.
