A CHOIR is set to sing out to commemorate the First World War. Mold Choral Society is performing The Dream of Gerontius by Elgar at St Asaph Cathedral on May24 at 7.3Opm.
A society spokesman said: “This work has been chosen as a commemoration of the First World War centenary this year. The work tells the story of Gerontius’ journey from death to sublime life accompanied by a choir of angels.
“With full orchestra under director Trystan Lewis, the music will fill the cathedral with the sound of glory.”
