Year 6 pupils at Albany Primary School are staging a public exhibition to showcase the school’s history as a military hospital in the First World War.
The school on Albany Road, Roath was converted to use as a military hospital from 1914-1919 while pupils attended other local pri
mary schools. It will open its doors to the community for the school’s first public exhibition.
Pupils have spent the half term researching the history of the school including a visit to the Glamorgan Archives to study the headmaster’s log books from the time. Their research and work will be on display.
